The Artists



Lucy Hill and Judy Wensel are dynamic and driven Actors/Directors/Improvisers/Creators from Regina, Saskatchewan. They have been active in the world of Improvisation for over ten years and are continually inspired by the creation of new work and pushing the bounds of Improvisational Theatre.





Lucy Hill (Dot) is a Regina-based actor, improviser, teacher, and theatre creator. Lucy has appeared in many productions at Globe Theatre including A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Alice Nocturne, Peter Pan, and Robin Hood. Lucy also wrote and performed her own one woman show titled, Bertha, which she premiered at Globe Theatre in 2010 and later toured to Saskatoon and Edmonton in 2011. Her work as an actor has also taken her to Persephone Theatre in Saskatoon, to Halifax as a member of the Canada Games' National Artist Program and most recently, to Theatre NorthWest in Prince George.  In addition to her work as an actor, Lucy is a trainer and host for the Canadian Improv Games Saskatchewan tournament and is a member of the Combat Improv Ensemble.




Judy Wensel (Mae) is a Regina-based actor, improviser and theatre director and creator. Since recieving her BFA in Acting from the University of Regina she has been active at Regina's Globe Theatre both on stage (as an Actor) and off stage as a director and theatre school instructor. Globe Theatre credits include: Robin Hood, Metamorphoses, The Alice Nocturne and Marion Bridge. Judy is an avid member of Regina's improv community - she works as a trainer and a judge with the Canadian Improv Games and is the founder and co-producer of Regina's Combat ImprovJudy was the recipient of the 2009 Regina Mayors Arts and Business Award for Emerging Artist and the 2011 Stage West/Equity National Emerging Theatre Artist Award.
